The Cloud is a chronicle of the Breadnikov family compiled by Vera Maevna Miturić-Clebnikova from archival materials.

We are faced not only with the bright destinies of heroes, but also with Russia ' s violent cultural life during the first decades of the last century. The father of the family, Vladimir Alekseevich Klebnikov, is an ornithologist, one of the organizers and director of the Astrahan Biosphere Reserve, the first in the country.
On the pages of Vera’s e-mails, a magical image of the cloud sky appeared, which gave the title of the book, Cloud. The same name is given to chapters located in chronology.
The book describes the ways of children with diverse talents: the formation of the genius Velimir Breadnikov, the creative search for his sister, the artist Vera Breadnikova, and Alexander’s brother, the inventor and natural scientist.
A special place in the book is the account of the life of Vera Vladimirovna Breadnikova. Brightly gifted — a painter and a graph, a poet of her own, and a liter — she has always remained in the shadows of the great brother of Velemir, and then of the husband, the famous artist Peter Mituric.
Vera and Peter, overcoming all the difficulties of the post-revolutionary time, raised a son, the beautiful artist May Miturić-Clebnikov.
