This project explores my complicated relationship with my father. The focus is on memory, family dynamics and emotional reconciliation. My father was into video games, and at first it was something that brought us closer together. Over time, as technology developed, his passion became more and more isolated, and there was an emotional distance between us. After his parents got divorced, he stayed in my childhood home, which was gradually messed up by a lot of accumulated things. I am driven by the desire to reconnect with the past and to understand how a family trauma has affected my memories. The childhood home has become not only a repository of forgotten objects, but also a symbolic space reflecting my father’s psychoemotional state. I visit this house in his absence, sneaking through the debris to recover the memory fragments. This process resembles a game with obstacles and time constraints. To capture and rethink space, I use photography, 3D scans and virtual simulations to preserve a symbolic connection with my father.
