Musical animation video inspired by a long period of illness
This video, its graphics and animation were impressed by the powerful painkillers I was given during my illness.
The first image of a monotonous depressive virus in the project was:"font-size: 20px» («font-size: 20px»). Music — the «policy» track performed by Chokebore — combined with my general state, went to the top and defined the editing and rhythmic accents in the video.
In the course of my work, I was increasingly distracted by doubts about the graphic concept, whether it was too simple. Because everything that’s been going on in the video is simple animations of very simple forms. These doubts have led me to the printing layer of the graph: listing terms and concepts that could be interpreted in a complex way in the context of illness
These concepts — more like sociology and psychology — ultimately helped me to develop more detailed and variable plans with different types of opposition to the healthy and infected.
About the end of the video, some transformation takes place. Inspiration for this was precisely the strong painkillers, the side effects of which included — all this little text in the instructions, it turns out, not lying — partial loss of vision, hearing, hallicination, and unconsciousness. It’s a state of weightlessness, a «cosmos» I decided to play in the video literally, maybe, among other things, inspired by a famous science fiction film.
