Logo and typeface for one day
These workshops are for everyone, who wants to become a communication designer, who wants to get new information on how identity works
The lection is divided in 2 parts: 1. The first part is about Terminal Design Branding Agency, which I run as a founder, and our portfolio shows the performed projects and received awards 2. The second part is about how to make the logo for the fiction product of a fiction company


The main task of that part portfolio presentation is to emphasize several points:
The brand identity is the name, sign, logo, typeface, pattern, form, set and combination of colors and graphics developed for the client, collected in a system of compositional principles and forming a holistic character image
The identity system forms visual communications and helps to develop the future brand
The brand is an image in the consumer’s mind
The task for the workshop is to create the logo for the product, which can be produced by your own company; up to this moment we split ourselfs into teams and each of us decides what to produce, for example it can be national products with the characteristics of the region where the workshop is held
For the logo we try to find simple modules, because the typeface is a rhythm. I give pupils the stencils and we have to use only one simple shape from them
