MARINA GISICH GALLERY 25
This year Marina Gisich Gallery celebrates her 25th birthday. The project is a collection-archive publication dedicated to the anniversary of the Marina Gisic gallery on Fontanca. The book transmits the experience and materials that have accumulated over the years of space operation. This is a story about the history of the gallery through artists, exhibitions, and objects related to Marina Gisich Gallery.
The book entry is the first exhibition in the exit gallery.
The book is an archive of 25 years of artifacts, a story about the gallery through facts, statistics, and people who are involved in the work. It consists of six chapters: 1. About the gallery (text on the history of the gallery) 2. Interview (3 interviews with Marina Gisic over various years) 3. Artists (list of major artists of the gallery, their achievements and works) 4. Archiving (artifacts from the gallery + index) 5. Exhibitions (main exhibitions of the gallery over 25 years + curator texts + reviews from publications) 6. Index (rapid search for artist/event in book)
The last part is an index for quick search by the reader of the right artist or exhibition.
Zin.
Zin for a series of exhibitions dedicated to the twenty-fifth anniversary of the gallery: a series of exhibitions for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the gallery «The River of Time does not tolerate ice». Zin for the first of three exhibitions of the «Teacher, Doppelganger, Monkey» cycle. Combines photos from the exhibition, the esposition work, and the photo from the vergisage. A double cover with a curator text, which can be read separately from zin.
