There are many preserved houses in Russia with impressive wooden patterns on their window frames. This delicate art was passed on from master to master, and I allowed myself to continue this in glass.
To work on this project, traditional technology was taken as a basis. But for me it’s important to break the rules. I’m trying to invent something special. Something that no one has done before me. Thus, from the traditional technique of assembling Tiffany stained glass in our workshop, the two-layer Tiffany technique was born, which became fundamental in the project.

To create a series of works «Mirrors based on Old Russian platbands», the remains of glass of different textures, which remain after the assembly of stained glass windows in the workshop, are used. Bevels of various shapes, fusing elements and aged mirrors are also used.
Stained glass art is a single being made up of pieces. Only thanks to the hard work of a master stained glass artist, a complete picture is created from shards of glass.

«Mirror based on old Russian platbands» is an art object and an interior item at the same time.
The work is popular among collectors in both the fine arts and crafts fields. My customers cannot imagine a space without art and collectible design. For them, glass in the interior becomes a touch, the personal style of the owner.
