Their first meeting took place at Peter Berens' workshop, which was later combined with joint projects, exhibitions, and meetings. Then they didn’t know they’d cross paths all the time and become great architects.

The upper block is dedicated to Le Corbuzier, the lower block to Misa van der Roy.
While remaining friends and working for a single period of time, each developed its own design approach and greatly influenced the development of the architecture of the 20th century, in particular the international style.

The book is structurally divided into two blocks. Each has three general sections that reveal and compare architectural principles with the projects that have been created.

Three general sections of the book
The text blocks in the upper book «grow up» from the bottom, and in the lower, from the top, as if to create the attraction of two concepts and fritters.
The visual concept also reflects the spirit of modernism’s architecture: open design, rigidity, monumentality.

The book contains information kits on joint activities and architects who crossed paths and worked with Corbuzier and Miss in the same period.
The boxes are placed in two blocks at the same time and, when folding, move from the top to the bottom.

Every block has turns with Corbuzier and Misa talking about architecture.
