The book «WAK CONTEMPORARI» describes the 100-year history of modern dance. It covers the most important choreographic works from 1922 to 2022.

The idea of the book is to divide the narrative horizontally into two parts: the past and the present.

Rhythmic twisting pattern, printing location, images, is in line with choreographic rules.
We are sinking into the history of the contemporari dance gradually, moving from our time to the depths of history. When an audience reaches the end of the book, it should be turned over and read again, then back to the beginning.
Patterne reading the spiral represents the cycle of dance, motion, and turning.
Instead of numbering the pages, the reader sees a period when what is said in the narrative happened. There are also points at turning points, and the number at turning depends on the number of important events in the dance history at that time.
The closer we get to the middle, the more the book is filled with pictures, turning into a photo album, and then it goes back to the textual part, where the images disappear altogether.
Through a smooth change in the saturation of the text and the visual material, you can feel the composition of the dance, where the production is based on the approach to the culmination and then the silence and the turning off of the music.
