When I was little, I often asked my parents, «What if…?» Those words were followed by the most ridiculous and unrealistic ideas that could not be imagined in the real world. I think day-to-day seemed boring to me, and I was trying to make it interesting, at least in my head. I’m 23 now, but I keep asking myself that question. Only now I can not just think about these ideas, but also visualize them.

As the main hero around which the whole project is built, I chose lobster. He’s the star of my fantasies! This character appears in each of the paintings in the most unexpected and unpredictable images. In other words, it’s a game with a viewer: «What happens next?» But this question is answered not only by the paintings themselves, but also by their animated AR copies. How does it work? There is a QR code next to each painting, which the viewer can scan with a telephone. Then an animated version of the work appears on the screen. The exhibition presents two main paintings and four additional features, with a major outline showing the elements from the main works.

The painting depicts a «high society» where it is common to spoil its tasteful receptors with the fine taste of a freshly prepared lobster. But don’t you think there’s something wrong here?

What if lobster becomes a table?
What if you open a box of matches?
What if you look at the chandelier for a long time?
From the height of the lobster flight, a view of the traffic from the cars appears. Megapolis with skyscrapers is next to the desert, where the mysterious billboard is shining.
What if lobster becomes a plane?
What if we put a billboard in the desert?

What if the girl falls down?
The main advantage of the AR exhibition is to be able to see it in any room. All you’re gonna need is a phone and an empty wall of Action Algorithm: 1. Scan QR code 2. Open Annex 3. Place the camera on empty wall four. Enjoy animated paintings and music escorts
If you want to buy a painting in a private collection, the AR cardin has another main advantage: the ability to evaluate how the painting looks in your interior. You can see how this works with a picture of a matchbox.
